Volunteering with Figment Arts

Figment Arts is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support three exciting community-driven projects: Port Stories, Eastbrook Manor Community Art Space, and Figment Arts Studio. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in arts and community engagement while making a meaningful difference in your local area.

About the Projects

Port Stories– A creative exploration of Shoreham Harbour’s 250-year heritage, using audio recording, soundscapes, photography, and creative mapping to uncover the port’s untold stories. This 12-month project will culminate in a series of interactive audio walks and public events.

Eastbrook Manor Community Art Space– A permanent creative hub designed to bring local residents together through hands-on workshops, exhibitions, and artist-led sessions. This project will run for 10 months, supporting up to 450 participants through accessible, inclusive art activities.

Figment Arts Studio– A dedicated creative space supporting disabled and neurodivergent artists. The studio provides a nurturing environment where artists can explore and develop their work through mentoring, residencies, and collaborative opportunities. Volunteers will assist with studio facilitation, event coordination, and artist support.
